I have been on a cleaning frenzy, especially where my refrigerator is concerned!
The first cleaning was "just because" I thought it was time. The second cleaning
about a week later - I had spilled fish juice, talk about stink!
The third cleaning happened when I discovered I had purple splattered
eggs in my egg bin. How on EARTH did that happen? My blueberries defrosted
and leaked off the plate and ran down the back of my refrigerator!
What a mess! As you can see, I didn't realize how bad the
"blueberry murder" was until I took the entire drawer out!
Scrub, scrub, scrub . . .
See how organized and pretty she is now!
I love organization! A special thanks to my husband for
organizing everything as I washed and handed it back to him!
This looks like my poor fridge! I wish mine were larger now that I have a teenage boy to feed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice job! Don't you love it when a job has actual results one can see and, in the case of the fish juice, smell -smile-.
ReplyDeleteNice job. There is something about a clean organized fridge that makes all right with the world again.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big job (especially your blueberry leak) but so worth it when it is all tidied and organized. I clean my sister's fridge too because that is one job she really really hates. I'm so happy they are replacing their side by side this month after 14 years because it is so narrow. I'm weird, eh, excited about my sister's new fridge.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so nice!
ReplyDeleteI just love when everything is scrubbed clean and organized.
Puts a spring in my step, and a smile on my face :)
Have a great week!
Dear:) this look like my refrigerator sometimes only now I had to clean because some juices fall ou you know:) I think yours look wonderful:)Congrats(LOL)
ReplyDeleteSo, when can you come and clean mine? Lol
ReplyDeleteYour refrigerator has to be on my wish list. The one I have was in the house when we bought and I TOTALLY DISLIKE SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATORS. There, now that I have said it, I feel better. Next house, this one is for sale, will be better, I promise. Now I feel better. Susan
ReplyDeleteIt always makes you feel better when it is all sparkley clean.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Those blueberries really can nake a mess. What a good feeling to see our fridge so well organized. I am looking at mine and now I feeel the need to clean.
ReplyDeleteRita
OMG your fridge DOES look like a murder scene, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI see that Kim above had the same idea that I did. When you finish hers, could you come to Georgia and clean and arrange mine?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Very clean and organized! I love the type of refrigerator you have...it looks huge!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Hi lovely lady.
ReplyDeleteSo nice and organized now, This has happen to me also with a jar of Maraschino Cherries ran down the back of my refrigerator! I would like to thank you so much for your sweet comments on my new Christmas In The Park.
XXOO Diane
When there is a spill in the fridge it is a big job to clean for sure. You and Ron work nicely together. Organization is key!!
ReplyDeleteMy fridge is, most of the time, as good as empty (typical single woman fridge, just some bubbly stuff, a few yoghurts and bit of cheese in there...), so it takes only very little time to clean it out.
ReplyDeleteSince I am a freak for tidiness and things being organized, I really like your organized fridge :-)
Hi Mary - I can't find your email. I've tagged you: http://whatibakedthisweekend.blogspot.com/2011/12/food-bloggers-unplugged.html MCB x
ReplyDeleteLove your organized refrigerator. My husband is in charge of that job and woe is me if I put something back in the wrong place.
ReplyDeleteI love your refrigerator. I cannot fit one in the space I have without some carpentry work and there would be too much involved. Hate the side by side - so small. We have an second fridge in the garage.
Carol
Good and hard job!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Wait until I show my husband this. My dreams will come true and my refrigerator will look like yours. Smile.
ReplyDeleteSam
I feel anxious just looking at the pictures... and my fridge is sitting in the corner staring at me i'm sure... but now that you've started on yours you ma as well pop over and do mine?
ReplyDeleteWell, crud, you had to remind me, didn't you? When I get off this computer (soon, soon!) I need to clean my kitchen, starting with the interior of the fridge. Then, there's the pantry and china cabinet. (How DOES dust sneak into a closed-door china cabinet, doggone it?) Anyway, nice job. One of those jobs it always feel good ... to have behind you.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I need to do this...but isn't this really a January type job???
ReplyDeleteI have fridge envy! You have such a super fridge, and you've prompted me, I really must tidy ,so I can squeeze things in after the big shop in a fortnight.
ReplyDeleteLovely to meet you....and I will follow as soon as blogger let's me! Jude x
i just cleaned out my frig after thanksgiving. it was much needed. it is amazing how yucky it can get at times. what are we living in our frig or something?? nuts. (:
ReplyDeleteI love American fridges - so much bigger and better than ours!!
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny! Kinda looks like my fridge.
ReplyDeleteMore promises for January.
