They won!? Sometimes, one gets her news on blogs. ; ) (Two grandsons and one was cheering for The Cardinals and the other The Red Sox. It's been very exciting at their house! )
This is the most beautiful crust...it absolutely is amazing. You have outdone yourself!
Love the pie and the acorns on top.. Glad the Red Sox won last night.. I was rooting for St.Louis. But they didn't play up to par and the best team won. It was a good series to watch this year. I put hearts on top of my pies.. Pies are made with lots of love...I love making pies.. Have a Tiggeriffic day~! ta ta for now from Iowa:)
How utterly beautiful! Where does one find such pastry cutters? I adore that pie crust and I adore PIE. I make a cut pastry for my Thanksgiving turkey using puff pastry, but I always have to freehand the "cuttings" with a knife. I would love to find some cutters with leaves and acorns too.
That must be the best pie crust I've ever seen, and just noticed the apple pie covered in pastry leaves on the sidebar. I bet the pies were delicious too (I love pie, sweet or savoury). Now looking for cutters so I can try it for myself.
The pie is absolutely gorgeous. But I hope you haven't given up blogging! I'm visiting all the blogs I follow because I'm very excited about my homesteading book being published! I want to tell the whole world! If you have a chance, please do stop by my blog to help me celebrate. :)
Congrats on the Red Sox! I bet that pie baked up beautifully! Love it- xo Diana
