Hi there, I love this photo and there is nothing that rejuvenates me more than being out in nature. In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful Ca. coast in a week. Hugs, Noreen
Know what you mean! Tonight, as SB and I were leaving the store, I looked across the parking lot to the beautiful horizon ... all blue and purple and pink clouds behind pine trees with the sunset behind all. I exclaimed, "Look at that sky!" There were three people crossing the parking lot from different directions and they all stopped to look and ... pause. It made me smile!
I'd appreciate winter's beauty a lot more if it wasn't so cold here... Compared to a bit further East, were many people have died from the cold, we are still lucky over here, and I am warm and snug in my flat, but I truly long for spring now.
You are so right, Mary! I am flying to the baking Summer heat of Australia tonight...hard to believe that it's hot somewhere at this time of year. I'll miss the beauty of the cold, though. Have a great week xx
oh my goodness it sure does and brings such peace! i try to remember each day to stop and smell the roses! cant wait to smell the roses but right now winter has had alot of great landscapes to enjoy!
This image is so simple an so beautiful that it can be found on everything from linens to jewelry to well, several of my hammered aluminum pieces. It conjures such wonderful memories of Vermont for me personally! Beautiful picture.
Since my move from blogger to Wordpress I have been MIA! I have found you again and as not to lose you again, I have added you to my sidebar! (I cannot use blogger followers dashboard anymore) STUNNING and beautiful photo....nature lays her art out daily.... Karen XXXX

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Mother Nature soothes the spirit as well as any good mother mends her child's cuts and bruises.
ReplyDeleteI love that shot! Sometimes the simple, bare beauty of winter is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWinter is beautiful, too, even though we tend to gripe about the bad weather and cold temps. Like your shot of the pine cone and branch. :-)
ReplyDeleteDeep blue skys with fine whisper clouds does the trick
ReplyDelete:-} I like it when I SEE nature, be it a little red berry or a blade of grass. We are so lucky.
