Tomatoes

Grape tomatoes

Vine tomatoes

Steak tomatoes too

Red tomatoes

Green tomatoes

I know what to do

Dice them, slice them

Mince them, seed them

Put them on a plate

Eat them, feed them

To yourself…

They taste really great!

    Mary- Love me a good sliced tomato with a light sprinkling of salt! Unfortunately, I didn't get a taste of very many home growns this summer. :-(

    I'm eating tomatoes (big ones, little ones, red ones, yellow and orange ones, too) as fast as I can!! They'll soon be gone from our markets. We had BLTs for supper this evening--delicious!

    What could be better than a tomato right out of the garden ontoasted bread with mayo? Any kind will do, as long as it's garden fresh!

    I've never had success growing my own but there is nothing that compares with that heady aroma of a freshly plucked tomato. Lovely xx
