Home-style Easter decorations

I didn't make this, but it's my favorite Dedham pottery bunny!

Here are a bunch of eggs, can you guess which ones I
painted, which ones I bought and which one is real?

I made and painted these cute little lambs about
20 years ago.  Duke love to look at them!

This is a really cute lamp that I made many years ago, it's one of my favorite Easter decorations.  The light is inside the handle.

These were the bunnies on top of our wedding rehearsal dinner cake!

This little girl is from my bridal shower, 18 years ago!

Duke with his friends, he likes to bark at the male bunny!

My centerpiece on the kitchen table.

My favorite painting, resting on the mantle.

  1. What a wonderful assortment of Easter decor you have, and of course I love all of the bunnies! That's cute that Duke barks at the one bunny!

  2. Maybe 15 minutes before I found your posting here, I took pictures of the (few) Easter decorations I have put up in my flat :-)
So, when and if I will post about them, please do not think I am being a copy cat...

As for the eggs: my guess is that you bought the metallic looking ones and painted all the others. I can't say which one is real :-)

  5. Of course you know how much I love your painting. I also think the real egg is resting in the back row. Duke looks proud seating between those two cuties. We are always playing around with our bunny collections aren't we. Maybe we should have been Playboy Bunnies. lol

  6. Oh Duke, you are such a sweetie pie.

Love your beautiful Easter decorations. I think the best ones are the handmade & older ones.

Happy Easter, dear friend, to you and to your family.

  12. You have the cutest Easter decor! I love the ceramics you made. My MIL gave us a nativity set she made 20 years ago, and it is gorgeous. Nothing like hand made with love ceramics. Happy Easter!

  13. WOW! You are so creative. I have nothing that spells Easter and I feel so bad. When we moved years ago I gave everything away.
    Happy Easter,

  20. Lots of cute bunnies here! I love that you had rabbits on your cake. You'll have to dish the story on that! Duke must be quite tolerant to have his picture taken with the rabbits. Our dog used to attack a sock reindeer at Christmas. LOL
    Happy Easter! ~ Sue
