Acadia is such a lovely spot. I hope that you squeeze every minute dry. School's starting up in a few short days or so you have until September? I hope the latter.
Hi, I haven't lived at the ocean but lived really close. I never thought about it like this-thank you so much for sharing. Maine is one of my all time favorite states; I hope to get back there again and would love to see Arcadia National Park. Enjoy! Noreen
Hello Mary: We could not agree more. There is something very special about being by the sea where one does become very conscious of the tides and all things related.
When in Brighton we are most fortunate that our apartment looks directly out to sea and so we are able to observe its changing moods first hand.
Oh how I miss the ocean. When I struggled with depression, it was one of the things that really helped me out of it. There is something so healing and powerful about the ebb and flow of the tides.
I'm so glad I've found your blog! I've 'followed' you and look forward to reading more of your blog!
The beach puts you in such a good mood. I can't wait to take a walk on the beach when I visit you. I'm on the look out for heart shape rocks. I hope I can find a cupful. Gorgeous photos.
How lovely. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I wish I was at the beach on holiday RIGHT NOW! *sigh* Back to reality.
ReplyDeleteHow true those words are, nothing beats summer in Maine, in my book anyway. Enjoy! Hugs, Julie.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhh! Just the view makes me feel relaxed and eager for a beach read! Enjoy this vacation, dearie!
