Seaside decorations for the Autumn |
My hubby and I like to go for "rides" and check out neighborhoods, look for yard sales, stop at vintage shops to see what people are selling. I guess you could say that we are nosy! LOL!!!! We just love to sniff around town! Below, and above are some Autumn decorations that I just love, and am currently trying to recreate! Wish me luck!

Don't you just love this time of year? Looks like you had lots of eye candy on your drive. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteLove the pumpkins~! Fall is so beautiful this year with the vivid fall leaves just glowing when the sun shines on them.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures~!
Ta ta for now from Iowa:)
I can almost smell the fall in the air from your pics. I like to garage sale with my hubby too - so romantic :D
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the plants and pumpkins going down the stairs. Lots of good things going on in that photo, including the rocking chair and the reddish orange lattice. A real classic.

Your photos are beautiful. The walkway and the pumpkins up the stairs are so cool. I wouldn't say you are nosy - just curious (wink)
ReplyDeletePumpkins make the best autumn decorations, don't they?
ReplyDeleteLove all your photos. They really capture the season.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. They could grace the pages of any house and garden magazine!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful autumnal decor in your area! Love those steps with the mums and pumpkins...so simple, yet impressive. Hope you have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThis has inspired me to get decorating!
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year ... the mums are always so lush and pretty and who can go wrong with pumpkins? They will look so neat when they're carved into happy faces and lit!
ReplyDeleteAre you making a scarecrow for your yard?
I just love all those sweet little pumpkins. We don't usually get them around here and if we do, they cost about $30 each. Yikes! We certainly don't get inundated with holiday decorating on this side of the world. Everything pretty much looks the same all year round except when temps cool off and we can actually plant and have things bloom and grow. Happy fall decorating. Hope your day is great. Tammy
ReplyDeleteLovely fall images! I also love the pumpkins and ghosties on your sidebar. Are those in your house? So cool.
ReplyDeleteMary, I also wanted to send my belated codolences on your Mom's passing to the other realm of life. Just read about it today. May she rest in deep peace and joy.
It's sad for you and for all your family, but let her spirit go on living in your joy, laughter, and love of all good things this earthly life has to offer.
Thanks SO MUCH for all your visits to my blog and for all your comments, too. I LOVE it when you stop by. Sincerely, Susan
Now that was a lovely driveby. Some people have such delightful good taste in autumn decorating. Wishing you luck with your knock-off decorating. That's what I have to do as I haven't had an original thought in years. ☺
ReplyDeleteI like all the creative decorating people do with pumpkins. The pumpkins and mums going up those stairs is very cute. Makes me want to go out and get some more pumpkins. Or more steps.
ReplyDeleteThe walkway and the stairs up to the house make it indeed look very welcoming.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the Blue Jay and the Cardinal! We do have Jays here, but no cardinals (I think).
I LOVE this post and want to come and visit you! LOVE the pumpkin walkway and all of the other seasonal ideas......thanks for brightening my day!
ReplyDeleteKaren
Those shots are fantastic; people can be so creative; and that blue jay and the cardinal at the right place at the right time.

Oh, I just love fall! Wonderful pictures. (I'm now following you!)
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! I walked around my neighborhood and took a few, too! So much beauty at this time of year! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos of fall. The pumpkins going up the stairs is my favorite. You and Ron always seem to take the best weekend rides.
ReplyDeleteWhat kid wouldn't love coming to trick or treat at that home! Beautiful decorations!
ReplyDeleteMary, there's inspiration and then there's what you do with it! Hope to see what you come up with at your own home. :-)

ReplyDeleteSo many lovely ideas for Halloween decorating! Only in the past few years have people really started to decorate their homes in Ireland. I love it - one of my favourite holidays :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos. I love the mums so much. Just wish they lasted longer.
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing these wonderful autumnal/Fall and halloweeny photos! I just love the way you guys really go for the Halloween thing over there - no half measures, the pumpkins just look amazing when put up the porch steps and along the pathways!
ReplyDeleteOver here at £3 to £5 a pumpkin (unles you grow your own)it would work out pricey!
Loved seeing all this, and the blue jay and red cardinal - wonderful!
Also enjoying seeing your sidebar photos - brilliant!
Thanks
Gill xx
Some pretty fall decor. We may have some frost on the ole punkin here tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteLove your part of the country, especially cedar shake shingles. You've captured fall beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSam
Love all your fall decorating...the steps divided with mums and pumpkins is gorgeous! This and the pumpkin pie recipe with graham cracker crust is making me miss New England in the fall...I can't believe I've never been to Maine....maybe this summer...it really looks spectacular!
