Duke's 8th Birthday Dinner . . . woof, woof

Our adorable cockapoo Duke celebrated his 8th birthday yesterday!  He told us that he just wanted a family dinner, no big party.  When we suggested Wendy's he woofed and sat pretty at the suggestion, he was so excited!  As you can see (poor camera phone pic) in the photo he was one happy puppy!  Duke ordered a small cheese burger with tomato's and pickles (no onion or lettuce).  For dessert he had a Greenie!  He was in 7th Puppy Heaven last night!

  7. Hi there and Happy Birthday to Duke. He is just so adorable-for some reason I never knew(maybe I just forgot)he was a cockapoo. Have you had ear issues with him?
Hubby loves the mix but our vet said they are known for ear infections and we can't afford an expensive vet bill being retired. Hope you have a great weekend. Noreen

  11. What a cutie pie. We had a pair of silver gray cockapoos some years back. They liked to leap around like sheep. (or ballet dancers?) Spoiled rotten, but I can't say that I ever treated them to Wendy's burgers!

  12. Belated Happy Birthday to Duke! Thinking back to all the cats who have shared their lives with me since childhood, we never knew their birthdays, just more or less the month and year, and Pukky, who died two weeks ago, could have been anything from 13 to 18 years old.

  17. Happy Birthday to Duke from my Nellie who will be 11 this spring! I just found you by clicking through various blogs--I'm not sure how--and I'm so happy! I always like finding fellow New England bloggers and I must follow you! We also spend every possible moment in Maine. I have 2 kids there now--one in college and one just graduated but working there. She will be moving to Boston this summer. We are in Connecticut! I have scrolled back through many of your posts and enjoyed myself tremendously. Looking forward to seeing more! Linda
