I like it when it goes 7 games too. It was win-win either way for me. As a Canadian I wanted to cheer for Vancouver but have always had a sentimental attachment to Boston. I was torn. But really I couldn't lose!
Thanks for stopping by, I've been enjoying your blog for a while, but I guess I never clicked 'follow' till now! It seems like we have a lot in common! Congratulations on the win!
The Bruins really played well, and they were the better team this year. Congratulations!! Can't wait till the season begins again in October .... Let's Go Caps!!!!
Congratulations!! Glad you are happy!!! Thanks for your great comments and kind words, and especially for recommending that book - i have heard of it, even seen it, but now i think i have to buy it! Hav a great day! Gill xx
It was a wonderful series of games! Congrats to the Bruins!
PS We LOVE oysters --I did a whole long book review post about oysters and their history in NYC once as there is as wonderful book about the same subject. Blue points are delicious!
Congrats to the Bruins for a series well-played...from a Canucks fan! Tim Thomas definitely deserved the MVP award after an amazing job in the goal...game after game.
We were sad that the Canucks missed out this time...but much more saddened by what happened in the streets of Vancouver after.
How cool were those winning games, it has been a very long time and fantastic to see the cup coming home to Boston. This week got even better when I confirmed my flights home for July too, yiippieee summer on the cape, what could be better.
Congratulations! I am Canadian and ashamed of what happened in Vancouver. A few bas apples doesn't make us all bad. My heart was tugging for Boston because Bobby Orr comes for very close to where we live, so we cheered for Boston for years. And it was clear you had the best team; just look a the scores.Very happy for you! Enjoy the celebration. Rita
Go Bruins! Never a doubt; never a doubt!
ReplyDeleteCelebration time.....

Congratulations, Bruins, from a Canucks fan (I'm not rioting, just crying in my beer . . . er . . . coffee).
