Welcome |
These are photos of an ocean side home we toured in Scarborough, Maine a few years ago. The proceeds went to Habitat for Humanity and Guatemalan Children's Relief Fund, both worthy causes.
This is my idea of coastal living (not really, it's too big), can you tell I'm yearning for the foot of snow in my yard to melt and anxiously awaiting Spring! This lovely home which was featured in Coastal Living magazine can be yours for a mere million +, I think it's still available! Enjoy!

That looks awesome. I would love to stay in that house!
ReplyDeleteI'd kill for that house. I really would. It's fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI'll take it! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming home! I'd love some coastal living like that, too. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely but I am not sure of the stripes in the kitchen. I think I would have liked white.

That is really beautiful! I have to tell you I am on the Pacific coast for the month of March and there is a wicked wind this year; kind of scary,

Wowsers. Can you imagine people actually live in homes like that? woo wee! Thanks for the tour and great photos. Susan
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful... but I like cleaning my MUCH smaller house better!

Beautiful! Maybe in my next life, I'll live in digs like that!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a big, beautiful house!
ReplyDeleteI always love to look at the historical homes for sale that Yankee Magazine profiles each month. I love an older restored home like them.
Beautiful and I have seen those homes in Scarborough. I like the roof deck and the view.

Beautiful! I love the soft colors they used in decorating. And Maine is a beautiful state...loved going on the tour with you!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realized that you had broken into my houses to take pictures. Please call next time and I will invited you in. LOL What an amazing dream home.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great seaside house - love the stripes everywhere, and those cute starfish cut out bannisters are so original!!

It is beautiful - and the mentioning of Scarborough alone made my heart beat faster (although I of course only know the Scaroborough up on England's North-East coast, where my husband and I spent many a happy holiday).
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place ... for all the 'beach' design details, though, that strikes me as a four-season place ... just so lovely and light! Puts our little beach rental on Cape Cod's bayside to shame! Oh well ... the ocean's the ocean! I love it wherever! Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteImagine sitting outside in front of your fireplace with the stars above you? yes, i can.
ReplyDeleteHow very splendid! How the other half live!

ReplyDeleteKat :)
Awesome house. I love the baskets on the wall holding the towels in the bathroom. The whole house is dreamy though.
ReplyDeleteI know it's wrong but I feel sick with jealousy at these pics. This is my dream home ( well maybe it's too perfect. I'd do it a bit more shabby but hey...) lucky you fir getting to visit x
ReplyDeleteI went on a similar tour in Maine a few years ago. It was called Hidden Pond Cottages. I blogged about it.
ReplyDeleteI agree this house is lovely but if I wanted a second home it would definitely be a little cozy cottage.
I am thinking that I could get quite comfortable in a cottage style home like this one. Wow! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVelva
I love beach decor! That sidewalk and the bowed room is really nice.
ReplyDeleteOH, my dream come true!!!!...
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that color palette. Love the kitchen cabinets. I think it's a little big for my seaside cottage so I guess I'll have to continue the search.
ReplyDeleteHave to go back and look at the lobster mac and cheese.
Very nice looking. Clean and crisp looking.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm nice. I agree, I 'd prefer something smaller. I am your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteBonne jourée
